Nel neemt afscheid van de Coenradi’s
Beste Rodianen,
Op zaterdag 30 mei gaat Nel stoppen als begeleidster van onze jongste groep, de Coenradi’s. Nel heeft dit met veel enthousiasme 38 jaar gedaan. We nemen dan ook afscheid van Nel met een mengeling van dankbaarheid en bewondering.
Voor vele generaties jonge voetballers en voetbalsters was Nel het allereerste gezicht van onze club. Al op 4-jarige leeftijd maakten ze bij haar kennis met de eerste beginselen van het voetbalspel: een bal die nog niet altijd doet wat je wilt, samen leren spelen en vooral: plezier maken op het veld. Met haar achtergrond als oud-kleuterjuf wist Nel als geen ander hoe je kinderen op hun eigen tempo laat groeien. En als je niet luisterde maakte ze duidelijk wat de bedoeling was, want discipline hoorde ook bij Nel.
Nu Nel 80 jaar is, laat ze het stokje los. Maar wat blijft, is haar enorme bijdrage aan onze club en aan zóveel jonge spelers en speelsters die dankzij haar hun eerste stapjes op het voetbalveld hebben gezet.
De laatste dag van Nel bij de Coenradi’s van onze club is zaterdag 30 mei. Op die ochtend zullen de Coenradi’s en de Champions League-voetballers haar officieel afscheid geven rond 10.15 uur. Iedereen is van harte uitgenodigd om Nel uit te zwaaien en dit bijzondere moment met Nel mee te maken.
Nel, ook vanaf deze plaats alvast bedankt voor alles wat je voor de Coenradi’s en onze vereniging hebt betekend!

Dear Rodianen,
On Saturday 30 May, Nel will be stepping down as coach of our youngest group, the “Coenradi’s”. Nel has carried out this role with great enthusiasm for 38 years. We therefore bid farewell to Nel with a mixture of gratitude and admiration.
For many generations of young football players, Nel was the very first face of our club. From the age of four, they learned with her the basics of the game: a ball that does not always do what you want, learning to play together, and above all, having fun on the pitch. With her background as a former nursery school teacher, Nel knew better than anyone how to help children grow at their own pace. And if you did not listen, she made it very clear what was expected, because discipline was also part of Nel’s approach.
Now that Nel is 80 years old, she is passing on the baton. But what remains is her enormous contribution to our club and to so many young players who, thanks to her, took their first steps on the football pitch.
Nel’s final day with the Coenradi’s at our club will be Saturday 30 May. That morning, the Coenradi’s and the Champions League players will officially say farewell to her around 10:15 a.m. Everyone is warmly invited to come and see Nel off and share this special moment with her.
Nel, we would already like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you have meant to the Coenradi’s and to our club!
