At our church, we deeply value every giftβbig or smallβthat supports our mission to serve, inspire, and bring people together. What many of our members donβt always realize is that your financial contributions may also benefit you, thanks to the possibility of tax deductions.
Your Gift Can Go Further
If you give to our church, and we qualify as a recognized charitable organization (ANBI), your donation may be eligible for tax deduction. That means not only are you supporting spiritual growth, outreach programs, and community workβyou may also lower your taxable income in the process.
Two Ways to Give β Each with a Blessing
There are generally two types of giving that may qualify for a tax deduction:
1. Regular Giving (One-Time or Occasional Donations)
When you donate from time to time, your gifts may still be partially tax-deductible, depending on your income and the total amount you give in a year.
2. Committed Giving (Through a Multi-Year Agreement)
If you choose to support the church with a fixed annual gift for five years or more, your donation may be fully deductible, regardless of the amount. This kind of committed giving helps the church plan for the future, and it may provide greater tax benefits for you.
Why This Matters
Your generosity already makes a difference. When youβre able to give in a way that is also financially smart, it becomes a double blessingβfor you and for the church. Many of our members have found that structured giving not only helps their own financial planning, but also strengthens their connection to the life and mission of the church.
