Het Nederlands Clubkampioenschap is voor De Amstel weer extreem succesvol verlopen: de Damesploeg wist weer de titel naar zich toe te trekken en de A-ploeg wist een nooit eerder vertoonde zilveren medaille te behalen. Daarnaast was De Amstel óók eerste in het overall klassement (alle tijden van A-, B-, C- en Jeugdploegen bij elkaar opgeteld.

Van de week bereikte ons het droevige bericht dat Theo van Beusekom is overleden. Voor de oudgediende uit de jaren 70 en 80 is Theo zeker geen onbekende. Theo heeft heel veel vrijwilligerswerk gedaan voor de vereniging.Samen met een van zijn maatjes Charlie de Ruijter heeft Theo jarenlang de pupille...
Vandaag staan er maar liefst zes Amstel-équipes aan de start van het NCK in de polders rond Biddinghuizen. Vorig jaar een gouden en bronzen medaille voor de Jeugd en de Dames. Benieuwd wat het nu wordt?

Week van de Scheidsrechter: zonder hen geen wedstrijd
Elke week staan er bij RODA'23 scheidsrechters klaar om onze wedstrijden in goede banen te leiden, van de jeugd tot het eerste elftal. Scheidsrechters zijn vrijwilligers die hun vrije tijd geven, zodat wij kunnen voetballen. Daarom zetten we ze extra in het zonnetje tijdens de Week van de Scheidsrechter van 3 t/m 11 oktober. Als blijk van waardering staat er beide weekenden voor alle scheidsrechters die fluiten wat lekkers klaar in de ontvangstkamer.
Doe jij ook mee?
Geef vóór de aftrap samen met de tegenstander een applaus en bedank de scheidsrechter na afloop. Ook langs de lijn kun jij je waardering laten zien. Deel je bedankmoment op social media met #scheidsbedankt.
Misschien is fluiten ook iets voor jou?
We zoeken nieuwe scheidsrechters, jong en oud, met of zonder ervaring. Je begint bij de jeugd, wordt goed op weg geholpen en bepaalt zelf hoe vaak je fluit. Een keer meelopen om te kijken of het bij je past kan natuurlijk ook. Interesse? Laat het weten via scheidsrechters@roda23.nl.

As India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Goyal has played a central role in advancing India’s international trade and investment agenda, including providing political direction and strategic guidance to the recently concluded India–EU Free Trade Agreement negotiations. His visit therefore comes at an important juncture for India–Netherlands economic relations, as businesses on both sides explore the new opportunities emerging from closer India–EU economic integration.
In this context, the Embassy of India is delighted to invite you to participate in the India–Netherlands Business Forum and Sector-Specific Roundtables, to be held at The Hague Marriott Hotel on Monday, 26 October 2026.
The Business Forum will be held in the presence of H.E. Mr. Piyush Goyal and H.E. Mr. Sjoerd Sjoerdsma, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands, together with senior representatives of the Indian and Dutch business communities. The Forum will provide an opportunity to discuss India’s economic priorities, opportunities arising from the India–EU FTA, and avenues for further strengthening bilateral trade, investment and commercial partnerships.

The afternoon Roundtables will bring together Indian and Dutch companies across key sectors and are intended to provide a more focused platform for business matchmaking, identification of potential partners, and discussion of concrete opportunities for trade, investment and collaboration.Given the high-level nature of the delegation and the business-to-business discussions envisaged, we would particularly welcome the participation of a senior representative from your organisation.
