The Embassy of India in The Hague is pleased to inform you that a high-level delegation led by H.E. Mr. Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce and Industry of India, accompanied by senior representatives of leading Indian companies, is scheduled to visit the Netherlands on 25–26 October 2026.

As India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Goyal has played a central role in advancing India’s international trade and investment agenda, including providing political direction and strategic guidance to the recently concluded India–EU Free Trade Agreement negotiations. His visit therefore comes at an important juncture for India–Netherlands economic relations, as businesses on both sides explore the new opportunities emerging from closer India–EU economic integration.

In this context, the Embassy of India is delighted to invite you to participate in the India–Netherlands Business Forum and Sector-Specific Roundtables, to be held at The Hague Marriott Hotel on Monday, 26 October 2026.

The Business Forum will be held in the presence of H.E. Mr. Piyush Goyal and H.E. Mr. Sjoerd Sjoerdsma, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands, together with senior representatives of the Indian and Dutch business communities. The Forum will provide an opportunity to discuss India’s economic priorities, opportunities arising from the India–EU FTA, and avenues for further strengthening bilateral trade, investment and commercial partnerships.

Session I – India–Netherlands Business Forum: 11:30–13:00 hrs

Networking Lunch:  13:00–14:00 hrs

The Business Forum will be followed by a networking lunch for all participating delegates from both sides.

Session II – Sector-Specific Roundtables: 14:00–15:30 hrs

The afternoon Roundtables will bring together Indian and Dutch companies across key sectors and are intended to provide a more focused platform for business matchmaking, identification of potential partners, and discussion of concrete opportunities for trade, investment and collaboration.​

Given the high-level nature of the delegation and the business-to-business discussions envisaged, we would particularly welcome the participation of a senior representative from your organisation.
